Removal of 97’ of Parking at Corbett and Ord Intersection
A notice by SMTA was
posted December 4 (removed December 5) at the intersections of Ord and Corbett. It is proposed that 97’ of parking be removed for red zones as part of the Sustainable Streets Project.
It calls for the following red zones:
Corbett, north side, from Ord to 13’ westerly
Corbett,
north side, from Ord to 20’ westerly
Corbett, south side, from Ord to 20’ westerly
Corbett, south side, from Ord to 10’ easterly
Ord, west side, from Corbett to 20’
north
Ord, east side, from Corbett to 14’ southerly

You may recall the SFMTA is also planning to add red zones at 14 bus zones between 1 and 399 Corbett (estimated to be about 280’). 87% of CHN members voted not to support these flag stops red zones.)
