Neighbors, Members, and Friends,
As 2025 draws to a close, all of the members of the
Board of Directors of Corbett Heights Neighbors are grateful for what your support has made possible this year. Thanks to you, Corbett Heights Neighbors has continued to be able to provide a forum for residents of the neighborhood to discuss common issues and concerns, to develop solutions, and to guide the direction of the neighborhood.
Because of members and donors like you, we have:
- Maintained,
improved, and beautified the character of the neighborhood by maintaining and improving its street parks—The Slope, Al’s, Ord/Corbett and Merritt/Danvers
- Expended dozens of volunteer hours cleaning trash, painting benches, trash cans, watering the parks, spreading bark, and calling 311
- Increased security by reporting suspicious
activity and supported safe streets
- Encouraged friendly association among neighbors through our park events
- Discussed and considered responses to issues of local and citywide concern
- Provided a forum for education and community outreach by providing the January membership survey, summarizing the data, and following up with concerns
expressed
- Published the monthly newsletter, Neighborhood News
- Worked cooperatively with other neighborhood associations, specifically with the Community Partner Network regarding the loss and restoration of our funds misappropriated by our prior fiscal sponsor, SF Park Alliance
- Established a relationship with a new fiscal sponsor, Independent
Arts & Media only ten weeks after the collapse of the SF Parks Alliance
Each of these successes tells a story—of residents inspired to care for the treasures of the neighborhood and of residents who work to improve our beautiful, special neighborhood. This work depends entirely on the generosity of those who value it.
As we approach year’s end, we invite you to join Board members in making a tax-deductible
contribution to Corbett Heights Neighbors. Your gift will ensure that our efforts and initiatives continue to thrive in 2026 and beyond.
If you are interested in supporting the organization in any way, consider making that tax deductible donation to Corbett Heights Neighbors now. You can also consider one of the following avenues of support to increase your impact:
- Make a donation gift in someone’s
honor
- Become a monthly or quarterly sustainer to ensure our small, but dedicated organization can plan confidently
- Check if your employer will match your gift and double your impact
We know you have many calls on your generosity this time of year. Please know that every dollar you donate to our neighborhood association will make a tangible difference in the
beauty and sustainability of our neighborhood.
Please make your year-end gift at www.CorbettNeighbors.com. Checks can be mailed to P. O. Box 14493, San Francisco, CA 94114 (IAM for the benefit of CHN). Your generosity matters. Thank you.
Sincerely,
The Board of Directors of Corbett
Heights Neighbors
